Guys please can you help I am looking for space real-time strategy games like Homeworld. I am remember when I went to college I played Homeworld I and II, now I try to find some similar games because my son and I are astronomy fans. It would be glad if you help me.
Starcraft 2
FYI there's a Homeworld remastered collection on Steam, but I have no idea if it's worth it or not since I never played the originals.

Sins was good for a while
Come to think of it i haven't seen many space based RTS in the past several years. I remember a few star trek ones back in the day - Armada maybe?
I thought Nexus: The Jupiter Incident was a pretty atrocious game. Each to their own I guess.
Starcraft 2
They're all the rage lately.
There have been a few on Kickstarter and some looking around on Steam Early Access.
Plus earlier this year (or late last, I've lost track of time) we had Ancient Space.
Hegemonia
Another vote for Sins, nothing beats seeing a swarm of thousands of fighters dog fighting next to giant capitol ships and massive dreadnoughts while the nearby planet is getting nuked from orbit...
Whoa... good sell! I'll check it out now!
