I'm always a little disappointed that our space tech looks like a flying junkyard. I want to see nice faux panels made of unobtainium with colorful logos on them and what not. Instead there are all these cables, wires, nuts and bolts protruding everywhere and looking like some TV repairman just connected a state of the art CPU with a bunch of patch wires.
