I have watched a few people have their first 40K exposure being Space Marine 2 & hardly anyone is saying they should play the first one, but people should, it's a great game & you'll get a lot more in 2 if you've played the first. The downside is that when you play 2 you will really miss the Orks.

To me, it's a no brainer. I mean, it's $10 bucks on GOG? If I'm going to plop down $60 of my hard earned money for a game (I'm old enough to remember great games were $30 - $40!), I'm going to get as much out of the experience as I can. This franchise is awesome, and I'm looking forward to engrossing myself into it.

Can someone please capture a short video of what looked like heretics being blasted with a bolt gun? I saw a game play video on Reddit or Facebook and that part looked really bad ass however I cannot find it again. Short video is fine, I appreciate whoever does it for me.

Me too. Doesn't appear as if this title is going on sale any time soon. Like ER & BG3, a 20% after 12+ months? Obviously, I'm not waiting that long before playing this game.
