I'm working on OC'ing my 4400+ (89W) and it failed after 12 hours. It was working fine as my method of checking is to see if the Num Lock Key is flashing. Since it would not, I figured I would move the mouse and see how long it was running. I checked the time and 2 seconds later it failed. Should I be worried or is does this mean it is a bad OC.

I'm wondering if I did not move the mouse to check the time, would it still be running?

If you have to worry about moving the mouse and tripping a failure, it is time to re-evaluate your OC... ;) You should be able to to go about your normal tasks while stability testing.

I have been testing out 3.7GHz on my rig today, and have been running Orthos for over 9 hours now... (Going for 24+ ;) )

What are you overclocking it to? What is your vcore, temps, fsb speed and memory running at?

2805=255x11, vcore=1.425, load temp=51c, idle temp=36c, memory running at 200MHz using a 333 divider. I have been checking on the progress and doing other task while stress testing, but this 1 time, it failed and I did not do anything but move the mouse to check on it.

I'm using and Abit AV8 board also, with the stock heatsink and AS5.
