SP2 \winnt\$ntservicepackuninstall$ files - can I remove this directory and files without problems to W2k?

I installed SP2 for w2k with the option to be able to unininstall sp2.
The $ntservicepackuninstall$ directory is where SP2 put all the files for the uninstall.
Is it save to remove this directory (and put it on a cd)?
I would guess that it is safe, since i could have opted not to have the uninstall, but just want to see if anyone has regretedly done so. (its about 120mb)

You can safely remove this folder.

After installing SP2, I used WinRar to make a backup of it, moved this to my storage HD and deleted the uninstall folder.
