One of my friends called me up and told me he was having problems with SP2. From what I got he has his updates auto-install so his computer autoinstalled SP2 and from then on his computer won't boot into windows, or sometimes it will load up but he'll just get a plain windows background and not let him do anything else. It wouldn't be a huge problem because he has a new computer he is useing instead, but he was looking at getting his files off this old one.
Has anyone had a similar problem? Can he pop the old HD in the new computer as a Slave and read them off that way? Thanks for any help.
