SP1 for Win2K Pro

There are two links in http://www.win2kworld.com leading to beta version of Win2k SP1. This service package will add 120 MB weight on your win2k installation.

You can imagine how many bugs a 120MB bugfix can fix and how many new bugs it might create.

Say, if it takes 100kb code to fix/create one M$ bug, 120MB = 1200 bugs.

This SP1 has this bug: will allow dial-up modem to connect, but any internet (TCP/IP) function is lost. Recommend waiting for "final", or at least keep option to uninstall, if needed.

SP1 fixed a few problem for me, such as that annoying wait just after the desktop loads but just before the start-up programs run...
