Hi Everyone,

This weekend, we will be hosting our annual warehouse clearance sale and wanted to help get the word out. We are located in Southern California in the City of Ontario, dates, times and directions can be found below or on soyo.com. If any of you are in the area, come check it out.

Also, we will be having a special appearance by SOYO sponsored fighter and former UFC Heavyweight champion, Andrei Arlovski. These are some good prices. Unfortunately, they're available at the local warehouse only!

soyo must be desperate to get rid off the stuff they bought for their rebate scam.

soyo sucks and i will never, ever purchase their stuff (of course, if i lived in ca and items didn't involve rebates, maybe?) :)

I bought a Soyo board once. Never bought another after finding that a CL sound card could not be installed on the second PCI slot or the system would not even power up. That was enough to convince me to stay away from them. They are like the Kmart of the motherboard world.

What did Soyo do? And what was the rebate scam?

I got a nice 32" LCD w/hd tuner for $370 OTD. My son got a 42"LCD w/hd for $513 OTD. No rebates, but only 90 day warranties. The clearance stuff is older models, but still very HOT!

There was only a few pieces of the 20" TV's and no motherboards, but stacks of everything else.

Also got a Soyo case that looks like an Ultra w/400 watt Ultra PS for $5.

If you are near the 15 & 10 check it out.:D

Yes, Soyo is a scamer.I would never buy a another product from Soyo.I once paid $30 more for a motherboard because the other motherboard was Soyo.Don't buy anything from Soyo. They cheated so many peoples and we should never forget.

I don't know about the scamming thing but since I live in Ontario I'll be stopping by to check it out.

Too bad you'll be supporting a rebate-scamming company, and you've been around long enough to know better. Oh well.

Since you are incapable of thinking for yourself, I suggest you do not try to influence others. They don't call you a sheep for nothing. Baaaa

I'm typically not compelled to say much but have to speak up here. I'm still waiting on a SOYO $60 board rebate from 2004, not likely to come through now, huh? I think Newegg stepped in and took care of at least some of those that bought the board through them but unfortunately, I hadn't bought through them. And the board turned out to be a dud too. At the very least, my recommendation is to stay away from the SOYO brand even if you buy other brands through them. And don't buy anything with a rebate. I found a related discussion at this link: http://forums.slickdeals.net/s...d.php?sduid=0&t=561188

They should change their name at this point because SOYO=stinks.

Ok, I did stop by to check it out. I was not impressed. They did the sale outside in the sun so looking for picture quality was difficult at best. What I did see wasn't worth the savings IMHO. I left empty handed. There were quite a few folks buying though so your mileage may vary.

I had a Soyo motherboard once long long ago. Maybe 8 years... It was pretty good at the time, had no idea they went so far downhill.
