i'm also using the onboard lan w/o any problems or issues. i did have to coordinate with my isp so that they would recognize my computer, but other than that, i've had no issues.... hopefully, we won't have the same experiences as Cybordolphin...

I am having the same issues Stephman is with shutting down in XP. I can confirm what someone else said that it is the USB drivers. I disabled the USB 2.0 controllers and XP shuts down fine.

Otherwise the board is working great.

BTW, I love my new Antec Plus880 case! Without any additional cooling besides the two rear exhaust fans it comes with my case temps are 30C with or without the side cover on.

I had the powerdown problem in xp as well. I fixed it by changing from a usb to a ps/2 mouse (same mouse, different connector). That got me thinking that the problem might be a conflict between the usb 1.1 and 2.0 features. i disabled usb 2 in the bios and then shutdowns went smoothly, even with a usb mouse. since i don't have any usb 2 devices yet, this isn't a problem. hopefully there will be a bios fix in the near future

someone reviewed the board on newegg (here) and mentioned the same problem. s/he said the latest usb drivers fix this problem for you winXP users. i presume you get them here.

hope this helps...

<< $179, mid march expected release. >>

I hope you meant mid-may, as mid march would be quite a long time to wait for a k333 board.
