had decent and bad exp w/tiger. latest was GF2Ti deal-
supposed to be retail card with $30 MIR ended up getting
card in white box w/no UPC but cd drivers and manual
but PNY said $25 MIR and no valid without UPC


long story short - I wrote nasty letter and called tiger and PNY

result - supposed to be getting $30 MIR on the way (fingers crossed)

Humor me...why does EVERYone hate TigerDirect? Has everyone had problems, or is this a reputation gained from a handful of bad experiences?

Tiger Direct sells alot of "stuff" so many people have had "dealings" with them. Best advice is to check retailer ratings. Tiger Direct is like the girl giving "it" up for a kiss, you have to balance how bad you need it against the chance you get something that isn't going to be fun.

I actually need something of an upgrade from my AMD 1.4Ghz...I got more RAM for it to find that the middle bank slot doesn't work...but I'm not paying even $70 for this, only to turn around and pay $130 for a P4!! Anyone know of good deals on AMD CPU/MB that'll handle PC2100 266Mhz DDR ECC Ram?
