soyo p4s drag.lite- infinite 'no page file' loop

picked it up at frys yesterday, going back tomorrow,

it doesn't have a page, file , I reset it and reboot, no page file, etc.

Spent hours at microsoft, soyo, etc., ms says that intel chipsets have this problem,
but this is an sis chipset, sigh.

Anyone have a miracle solution? Spent $200 on ram, cpu, and mb yesterday because my last
soyo went flaky- if only they weren't the cheapest

alright, gonna take this back and hope there is a better friday special,
do I blame, MS, Soyo, or both?

what does page, file mean ?
i picked up the same mobo the other day...

how did you install the os? are you using your old installation?
Try fdisk/mbr

this is a problem in windows xp when I new motherboad is added,
the only solution is to do a complete wipe of the drive and a fresh
install, which defeated my purpose of wanting to keep my data, so I took everything back-

I'm not using soyo or epox motherboards since I keep having problems with them (soyo all models I've
gotten, epox just the latest but they wouldn't rma it)

did you try fdisk /mbr by booting to dos? (use a dos bootdisk from bootdisk.com)
