SOYO KT600 Plus- Serial ATA

Morning-
Just built a decent box with the Soyo KT600 Plus mobo, and wanted to see if anyone had set up SATA drives on it. The documentation is a tad confusing; directories on setup disk in wrong place; documentation doesn't properly detail steps to take in CMOS to enable IDE use of the drive....

In general, I'm just having a hard time getting windows 2003 to see the drive...

Also can't seem to get right CPU speed to read...CPU is a Athlon 2600, but is being read as a 1.1ghz processor...
