I have a Soyo Dragon+ and every now and then, more NOW than then, I get a beep code of one short BIP! and a long BEEEEEEEP!, then my computer shuts off. Other times I won't get the short BIP!, just the long BEEEEEEEP! and it shuts off. I then give my case a hit and a bit of time and i come back and it works, that works about 25% of the time. I've reseated everything, so i'm ahead of you on that. Does anyone know though what the definition of that beep code is? Or what I need to do?

Thanks!

One continuous beep means memory problems. Try reseating your memory or moving it to a different bank to see if it helps.

the soyo dragon series has a check system installed (never found how to turn it off)
but you should get 2-3 small beeps everytime you turn your PC on.

The beeps check for video card, ram, and cpu fan.

I can't remember in which order BUT it's one of those problems for the long beep.
You should reseat ALL of them and make sure the cpu fan is connected to the MB
on the first fan connection above the ram.

that should fix your problem. ;)
