I was having some stability problems and upgraded to the newest bios (2ba2 I think). I've been reading that an earlier one was actually better, but the Soyo site only shows the most recent bios upgrade. Anyone know where i can get an earlier bios file. Any help greatly appreciated. Rich
 
Go to Soyo Homepage and click on the download section. Click the search engine button, then select "the DRAGON Family" and check BIOS. download the following file:

k7vx2ba1.bin

This is the 2BA1 bios, IMO the most stable.
 
really? my dragon+ that i got from newegg (silkscreened, not stickered) already had the 2ba2 bios revision. i havent had any problems with it yet.. running my XP 1700+ @ 1.65Ghz with memory at cas2.
 
Well I gave it a try and stability is a little better and my 3d mark 2001 went up a few hundred points. I suspected they slowed down the memory settings a bit to get three memory chips under control. Thanks Swarm. njrich2
