Soyo Dragon Plus SocketA ATX Mohterboard on sale

This board is really good. I paid twice as much for mine 9 months ago.

Ditto...The only problem I have is certain PCI slots on my board don't agree with certain devices (namely soundblaster or extra networking card). It hasn't made any difference. I just have to relocate to another slot.

Might want to compare prices (factoring shipping) to newegg. Roughly $89 shipped from newegg, about $91.68 shipped to Philly from directron.

I have this board. Really like it! However don't expect to run T-Breds on it even with the updated BIOS. Won't work for most people. 🙁

$84 bucks is a good price.
They have to unload all those KT266A chpiset motherboards...

Why do you say "they have to unload all those KT266A" motherboards?

Thats why I ditched mine.

newegg sells shuttle AK32A (KT266A) motherboards for $53 + $5 shipping. plus they have an MSI board (KM2M) that is similar, KM266 chipset, but with integrated video for $59. The shuttle board allows you to choose between PC133 or DDR. I believe MSI has announced a KT333 or 400 board that will allow you to choose between SDR or DDR also (if not MSI some other one, maybe epox?)

edit: its an MSI board, still KT266A, but it support FSB333. Interesting, KT2 Combo (MS-6764). Still allows one to choose either SDR or DDR

I like mine. Check the mobo forms. Check the threads by insane3D. He 's the man on these. Also, Directron is a reputable vender. Certainly not a low price leader, but very reliable & xlnt customer service. My 2 cents.😀

I like mine too. However, its not stable with memory in all 3 DIMM slots.
I have all three slots full (2X256 + 1X512) total 1 gig of memory, no problem so far. All of my memory modules are Crucial DDR 2100s.

True...Directron is a good vendor, bought many times from them (so is Newegg). I'll take price when CS is just about equal 😀
