I just got the Dragon Plus mobo installed and want to run in Ultra mode.
According to the User Manual, to use ide3 and ide4 in ultra mode the following is stated:
Note: When you need to use regular IDE function on IDE3 and 4, you must connect compatible IDE device with slot IDE3 and 4.
However, what I want to install is
1 hdd
1 cdrom
1 cdwriter
1 ide zip100 drive
I have 3 cables that came in the mobo package and I want to set up as optimized.
Can I use ide1 ide2 ide3 and ide4?
I know, I said I have 3 cables and I do, but what I mean is, which of these ide ports can I use and which arrangement would maximize my computer?
