Soyo Dragon FSB Overclock

I have a AMD Athlon 1.4 @ 1.6 GHZ on my Soyo Dragon (original). I have the multiplier at 12 and the FSB @ 133 everything is stable. However, if I enable "TURBO" memory settings, I lose my USB mouse. I can't figure out why thi is the case. I also lose my USB 1.1 port functionality if I overlock the FSB to 135 MHZ or greater.

Also, does anyone else notice that it taked a longer time for Windows 2000/XP to boot up when you have your FSB overclocked?
Please help, I don't care if there is a solution or not (Actually I prefer if there was one), but I just want to know why it's occurring.

after you enable the TURBO, you need to re-enable USB port.

btw, when you OC from 1.4 to 1.6, do you increase the power?

You can do what GrandVizor said or do it the other way. I mean do not set it to turbo, just normal and then go and manually adjust the memory settings to CAS2, and lower timings.

Hi Guys,

I have D+ as well, but it seems the board is not very clockable. I can get the machine to run at 12 X 142 MHZ stably, but after the cold boot, prime95 fails in about 2 mins. I thought it was PS, so I put in 400W EMAC PS and it's still the same. After reboot, the system is fine. PRime95 will run forver.
At 143 and 144 I can still get prime95 to run 24 or more but the machines crashs if I just leave it alone running! I get blue screens. IE also causes blue screen.
What's the max FSB that you guys ran with full stability?
