This is a good deal for the Sox.

Foulke made $6 million last year and will get $7 million per year for three years.

It gives them a chance to trade Kim or Williamson for a LF or 2B.

And it also weakens the A's. Who are they looking to now as a closer?

Wooooo hooooo, things are really starting to shape up. What a great pickup. I'm so psyched for spring training and the start of the season. I can only imagine Steinbrenners face, we'll see what he now tries to counter with.
