It's in CompUSA, all local stores in Southern California. Grab them while you can.
$70 After rebate!
30 dollars rebate!!! GOOD THROUGH June 02.
:)

Model: Magic Video 3D MX 32 MB ~DR-DA700 WITH Heat Sink!!
Of course, the price shows the type of RAM is SDRAM.
The box notes 32MB 128 bit memory in one place and 2.7 GB/sec internal bandwidth in another. If you read the latter as internal memory bandwidth, they both imply the MX or MX 400 chip not the MX 200 since the 200 uses a 64 bit memory bus for 1.3 GB/sec (per Tom's Hardware).

Grab them while you can!!!!!!!!!!!

This card rocks despite SDRAM...it performs at 90% of the higher end Geforce for 1/3 the price. However, NVidia is lowering the price of these cards to $59....so wait a month for a REAL bargin.

Dude,

There is no difference. FOR me, I need it. I bought a MSI K7T pro motherboard for $156 (including tax) with PC 2 PC and RAID and USB 2.0 I want to test the better performance. I do not want to wait for another year to buy GeForce 2 mx.

Damn, not even I/O Magic's website has any info on what chip the card uses. The SDRAM is 6ns, not bad. What matters is the bus. If its 128-bit SDR, it will perform just as well as a 64-bit DDR board.

I was in CompUSA Sunday, specifically to buy this board after reading the ads online a couple days earlier. Once I had the box in my hand and started reading it went downhill fast. Its mediocre cheap stuff, and I just don't want to suffer with it. With a better video card I will get some decent bundled software for DVD playback, and basically remove a whole level of worry about using a cheapo card.

This just didn't "feel" like a hot deal, just a cheap card.

I picked one up on Sunday. The box notes 32MB 128 bit memory in one place and 2.7 GB/sec internal bandwidth in another. I haven't opened mine yet:D

Too bad its an I/O Magic rebate. They are the absolute worst! I've had to call them for each of the 3 rebates they've owed me.

The card looks to be a standard MX (no 200 or 400).

The mail in rebate is for $20 from CompUSA.

The extra $10 was in instant rebate last weekend 2 days only (now over).

So today the card is $99.99 plus the taxes, minus $20.

Decent price on a decent video card.

I don't know about I/O Magic's Geforce 2 card but if it's as good as their TNT2 32MB AGP card it should be fine. I've had it about 2 yrs with no problems. Your right about their rebates, real slow and usually requires a call to prompt them. They bought the remains of Aureal sometime back and might be having financial problems.

I did get one, and its not bad.

It comes with a copper heatsink (just added a small fan to it).

Im not a big nVidia fan, but the card works ok for now.

Also, don't forget to upgrade to the latest Windows drivers (Detonator 3). At least on my system (Celeron 466, Windows 2K Pro), they upped my 3DMark 2000 scores by 40%:D

Not a bad little card for $70!
