South Park or Family Guy?

I think if i had to pick between the two, i would go with family guy. it seems like the only reason south park is even funny anymore is because it is little kids that cant go a sentence without saying something completely obscene. And no, swearing doesnt bother me in the slightest, but it just gets old when that is pretty much all they use for comedy. anyways, what do you think?
 
I like how South Park at least tries to tell a story to try and get a point across.... whereas Family Guy is just random.

Agreed. South Park uses some satirical humor to make the audience think to some extent.
 
If you think the main part of SP is the swearing, then you don't get it, in which case FG is more likely to suit your level.

level?! if i want storyline, i am not going to go to SP to get it as i am sure most people dont watch SP for the storyline. Comedy is to make people laugh, not to try and have an intricate plot and character development etc. I do think SP is funny, but it just seems to get repetitive sometimes.

HAHA! ya, i was waiting for that one ("nah, he just spelled moron wrong"very mature if i might add) anyways, if that was my reason for not liking south park as much, i would have said it. this has nothing to do with religion, because if it did, do you think i would like family guy? it's not like they are totally free of religion bashing humor. this isnt an "i hate SP thread," it is simply a which one do you like better? and i guess with my personality i like the totally random humor.

Sometimes used to watch South Park many years ago, but I got really sick of it. Same goes for Family Guy.

Television sucks.
