I love South Park. But the movie sucked azz. Half the fun is when they bleep out the cuss words. But there was way to much profanity in that movie.

And the singing?? GHEY!! I hate musicals.

agreed. South Park is NOT a musical show other than the OCCASIONAL song - there's no need for it in the movie. Movies + Singing = SUCK

Never saw it. It falls under the "Plays and Musicals" category. So I can automatically tell you that I hate it. ;)

Broadway, all that over-the-top singing and dancing stuff......just not my thing.

The best musical pieces create a story where you basically "have" to sing. South park, amazingly enough, does a wonderful job with its structure.

Try out "Cannibal the Musical" for Trey Parker and Matt Stone's first endeavour. There's little bits that are similar.

How did they do it? Easy. This is cable. Network TV has regulations they must adhere to(although they are severly lessened at night), cable TV does not, although it generally still follows them to keep parents happy. Ever seen HBO or Cinemax? They swear on there.
