Anyone been to Miami Beach before? I'll be going out there solo next month but plan on meeting up with friends, staying on Collins.

I live somewhat close to Miami. Be ready to blow money and see the most beautiful women in the country. Food is so so. You have to try the Cuban food and Joe's Stone Crab. Other than that the food is overpriced. Try out Brickell too. Fun place that you can cab to. There is the Grove too but I would not waste my time there if you only have a weekend.

If you are into snorkeling at all and you have a car. I would suggest heading down to john pennekamp. They have amazing snorkeling trips on calm days. It is among the world's best.

My one time in south beach we asked for good Cuban food, and we were pointed to David's Cafe II. It was great. When we were there, a cop came by for a quick dinner, and left his cruiser in the middle of the street with the hazards on while he ate.

It was fun walking down the art deco district in the afternoon. Every restaurant is half off with greeters outside in skimpy shorts trying to get you to go in.

Cool cool I'll make sure to check those places out.
