I need to help a friend find a value on an old lamp.
I have no name, marks on the lamp, nothing to go on. I'd like to find a messageboard or source where I can get some informed opinions.
Yes, I googled it. An hour came up with nothing. My guess is because I don't even know what to call it.
It hangs from the ceiling, so I guess it's not a lamp. Is it a chandelier?

This guy actually got offered 4 grand for these ugly sons a bitches 10 years ago. There's two like the pic and another one that's different but obviously from the same company.
They're definately worth some major jack. It'd make the old guy's day to find something out about this. He's been after me for a year to help him out because I'm the only person he knows that A.)Has internet access. B.)Has a digital camera. C.)Likes him enough to bother with this.

I found this lamp that's much the same design although it's french (but equally as hideous) at 5 grand.
