Source for front audio ports - custom build?

So I'm working up a custom case and I'm having a hard time finding a source for front audio ports that doesn't include a bunch of other stuff.

I've been through performance-pcs, frozencpu and a few others, anywhere else I should be looking? Google hasn't helped much at all.

Did you look at the lian li parts at PPCs? If you only want the front panel audio maybe mod the part? cut of the usb and other ports you don't want.
Why wouldn't you want those extras?

Can I just say thanks for specifying Lian Li... I happened to find *yet another* sub-section including Lian Li stuff and it definitely has some items of interest to me. One of which is obviously splittable into it's component port sections.

The reason for me is primarily aesthetics and port redundancy. If I already have a nicely laid out selection of ports and am only lacking audio... why would I want a new jumble of duplicate ports out of alignment and sequence with what I've already got?

Akasa has a nice internal powered USB hub (with 1394 and eSata) that I really like since it's powered! The only thing lacking at that point was audio. Now with the Lian Li parts I found elsewhere at PPCs it looks like I have a way to get what I want and I might even add USB3. Shame they're not set up for mobo headers tho.

I've used them and they are powered. Charging my phone right now. What do you mean, "mobo headers"? mine plug right in. I have cut them to retro fit existing cases so I know that can be done, the only difficulty I had was mounting as the rubber/ plastic is not glue friendly. What worked best for me was "plumbers goop", you'll find it at the hardware in a 4 or 6 oz tube. It's clear and sets up fast, mask around the glue up area, clamp the part w/ blue tape for an hour and excess can be cut then pulled off. Play with it a bit before using it on your project to get a feel for it.

edit- I see, I think the USB 3.0 needs to be plugged in back to the mobo ports. need to look into that.

The front USB ports on my current case have a bit of voltage drop due to the internal cable length. It can charge my phone, but there are some HDDs that won't spin up unless I plug them into the back ports or a powered hub. I really like the idea of having the powered hub as part of the system.

I happen to have a tube of plumbers goop and have worked with it. Mostly on plumbing tho :) Hot-melt is also pretty impressive and I have a variety of other glues to work with that all dry to different stiffness. Plain silicone tub caulk is shockingly tough too.

I'll also be trying jb weld for metal on metal and have an idea for attaching nuts or threaded studs for using the mounting holes on stuff like the lian li part.
