Source for Cheap Dynamat??

Can someone recommend a good, cheap source to order Dynamat online? I just want to buy enough to treat one mid-tower (side panels only is fine).

you know, ths last time I asked that, my coworker told me to go to my local auto-audio shop, and see if you can score some free or very cheap left overs.

Dynamat is expensive.. if you don't get leftovers, that is. Have you tried some old mousepads?

I bought some Dynamat before and it came on a roll. It was all wrinkled and looked awful. Anyone know how to get the wrinkles out? I never installed it because of this.

Thanks, but already got some PaxMate (from SVC in fact!) and what I plan on doing is apply the Dynamat first, then the PaxMate on top of it. That way I will have a noise barrier, vibration suppression, and noise absorption all in one. The only other material I've heard of for computers that does all 3 costs something like $80. I figure this will be a lot more cost effective.

Parts Express has this stuff that I've put in my cases as well as my car. It's cheap and helps a little, but don't expect miracles, even from brand name stuff. This stuff is cheap enough that you won't be out half the price of a harddrive if you don't like it. 🙂 They sell larger and smaller sheets further down the page.

www.b-quiet.com sells some stuff for much cheaper, plus also has some of the expensive stuff. In my experience the sound deadening mat did nothing but make my case super heavy. I would say it's not worth it. IMO your money would be better spent on quiet fans--my Panaflos made a much greater difference that the Dynamat-type stuff.

2 years ago i used cheap Staples mouse pads,and "Liquid Nails" glue,{with a caulk gun}
from home Depot,wich is next to the local Staples,
it quited down the tinny vibes on my side covers, i used One mousepad on each side cover and one on the top cover.
I had to trim slightly with scissors,for the top cover on my inwin case {tower}
still have it,its my first "modded" case, i have a 120 mm fan bottom front, top rear 😉 run the big fans at 7 volt to help quiet them
