I just bumped my FSB up to 220mhz (I have had it rock solid at 235mhz, but I had to lower it back to 200mhz to check if it was screwing with my SATA), so anyway, now my SoundStorm Control Panel won't open.

"It gives me the stupid, SndStorm.exe has encountered a problem and needs to exit" Error.

I also recently installed Service Pack 2 for WinXP (I've been using all the BETA's though, and they haven't been a problem with this).

I haven't tried lowering my FSB yet, I think i will right now and come back with the results.

THanks all.

The "encountered a problem and needs to exit" message is common with unstable overclocks so definitely start there.

The OC was prime stable for 5+ Hours.

Anyway, after lowering FSB back to stock speed, the Panel still won't open, i think i will try reisntalling SoundDrivers?
