While browsing eBay for a 1366 motherboard, I came across this gem:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/lot-of-2-lg...252029092?pt=Motherboards&hash=item3a7fc9b6a4

Description:

"I bought these from someone having a yardsale, I asked if they were working and all they could tell me is that there son used the ASUS one to play games a lot and they used the ASROCK one too take care of bills and other important tasks. When asked why they was selling they told me that they just wanted to get rid of them. So I am listing as For parts or not working because I have a AM3+ build that I can not test these on. When I looked up how much the ASUS one went used I figured the buy it now price I have listed is fair for both boards. They both come with the I/O shield I am told. There will be no returns accepted."

What do you guys think, worth the gamble?

Since most of the new1366 boards are off the market now about the only way you can get one is from ebay or craigslist. The only problem is that he is not doing any returns on the boards and since they are out of the box it is very possible that someone has bent a pin in the socket or done something to the board. While there is nothing visable it isnt possible to say there wont be.

I would not gamble on that. Relatively low feedback, and he listed them as parts, not used, so you have no recourse with ebay.

ps- unless of course, you are willing and able to repair them
