No offense to you personally, but this guy appeals to the lowest common denominator. I'm at 3:00 and there is nothing of substance brought up unless you already have something against the word "earmarks," he has not brought up one substantive issue. The only other thing he brought up was that the bill was long.. well, no shit Glenn Beck, it is a goddamn $400+ billion dollar spending bill. I hope its long.

That is why we need some good old fashion gridlock. Both parties have shown if they have total control they will abuse the power. The republicans did it for 6 years now the democrats are doing it. Bring back some good old fashion gridlock like in the 90s to keep both parties in check.

That is exactly not the point, the defective policies of GWB&co have created a potential to totally collapse the American economy.

The problem may stay manageable if unemployment does not go out of control,
but if we do not do something now and unemployment rises to 25%, its a whole different ballgame.

The quest55720 argument might apply during normal times, but these are not normal times.

Not every Presidential administration ens with a required total bail out of the banking system.
