Cornell has a good solo acoustic album where he plays a lot of the Soundgarden hits.
I really like it. You can hear the age in his voice, so it works well with the acoustic.
Of course he can't blast like he used to... that happens to all singers.

I would still love to see it live.

So those that hit up the Tinley Park show, what did you think?

Loved it! Nine Inch Nails couldn't have performed "Hurt" any better. Perfect end to the set. Soundgarden was great as well.

The sound quality for Soundgarden was shit at Tinley, but that's a common complaint for that venue.

NIN rocked as always. Slightly disappointed there was no love for The Fragile.

Copy of A - Hesitation Marks
Sanctified - Pretty Hate Machine
Came Back Haunted - Hesitation Marks
1000000 -The Slip
March of the Pigs - The Downward Spiral
Piggy - The Downward Spiral
Terrible Lie - Pretty Hate Machine
Closer - The Downward Spiral
Gave Up - Broken
Me, I'm Not - Year Zero
Find My Way - Hesitation Marks
The Great Destroyer - Year Zero
Eraser - The Downward Spiral
Wish - Broken
Only - With Teeth
The Hand That Feeds - With Teeth
Head Like a Hole - Pretty Hate Machine
Hurt - The Downward Spiral

I am not surprised. The Fragile didn't have a ton of memorable songs (at least, ones that got significant radio play). Starfuckers, Inc. and The Day the World Went Away were the only two songs I could even name off the top of my head and I bought the album on release.

I  Trent so therefore I  The Fragile.

There's plenty of songs I enjoy on there: Somewhat Damaged, WITT, Where is Everybody?, The Big Comedown.

Yeah....that was the tension tour. Missed the boat on that one.

The album is pretty good, it just didn't have the staying power most of everything else he has done has. But, chasing something like "Closer", as far as never being forgotten isn't a good idea; it won't happen.

On SG; Chamberlain did a fine job sitting in for Cameron.

On NIN; Never seen them live. Ilan Rubin (drummer) is a fuckin' LOCOMOTIVE!!

On NIN; Adrien Belew is 10 years older than me and that cat still flat-out rocks!

Adrien Belew never toured with NIN. He was supposed to then dropped out, he did add some geetar to "Hesitation Marks" though. If you're referring to the main guitarist that's Robin Finck.

Nice drumstick!

I was going to say, Adrien Belew must of gotten a hair transplant or something. :awe:

Holy shit.

I totally forgot I bought tix for the Jones Beach show. My heart dropped, then I checked the date and realized it's tomorrow. Thank FSM you guys bumped this thread!

enjoy man, killer show. I had to get a massage for my neck/shoulders the day after and 2 days later I could barely get out of bed.

Another...22 days until round 2!

Thanks! Looking forward to a good concert. Haven't seen NiN since the 90's or early 00's. Never saw SG.

What's up with your neck and shoulders? Holding somebody up the entire show?
