soundcard driver removal question

k I'm about to install my new soundcard but I'm not sure what I have to do to COMPLETELY get rid of my SB Live! X-Gamer drivers. just uninstalling won't do I guess, so what do I do, dig through my registry?

 
Creative drivers are like, deeply rooted in your system... Creative does list directions for complete driver removal on their site though.... I've done it before... it's a bia.

oh that? I looked it up and got that but thought it was a wrong one. I can't find the files that told me to find. so yah.
