Soundcard Acoustic edge and Win2k problem I could sure use a little help

When i loaded win2k for a duel boot I left in all my pci cards and the os loaded some I guess Legacy audio drivers so now i try to load the acoustic edge drivers and I having problems when I tried to do a sound test I got a BSOD ouch could someone please tell me how to get this card instaled and do I have to remove the legacy audio drivers??

Go to Windows Update, install SP2, uninstall the sound card, install the cd drivers, then install the update online.

Have you tried installing the Win2K drivers for the AE? WinXP automatically installed "legacy audio drivers" when I installed with my AE. I installed the 2K drivers for it and everything is working OK.

I have the Sp2 loaded Does this look right???
Here is what is in my Device Manager under
Sound,video,and game controllers
Audio codecs
Legacy audio Drivers
Media control devices
Microsoft Kernel System renderer
Philips Acoustic Edge gameport enumerator
video codecs

Hmmmmm.........looks like it's still missing the audio drivers for the AE.

Mine are listed in XP (using 2K drivers) as:

Audio Codecs
Legacy Audio Drivers
Legacy Video Capture Devices
Media Control Devices
Philips PSC706 Audio
Philips PSC706 GamePort Enumerator
Video Codecs

What version AE drivers are you using? If not the latest, try the link I posted above to download latest drivers & try those.
