SoundBlaster Live! Speaker set-up problem...

Every time I re-boot my computer, the speaker set-up on my soundblaster live! card goes to Live! surround, but I want it to stay on 4 speakers. Does anyone know how to make it STAY with 4 speakers?

There should be a program under the Creative Folder in the start menu that is called "speaker selection". change it there.
did you install off the creative CD first? if you didn't, then your speakers will keep resetting I think. if you didn't, you have to uninstall all the creative stuff before starting over at the creative CD.

Ok. That make sense. When I reformatted, I did not install from CD, but just updated drivers. I will give that a try.

Thanks.
