so i just reinstalled windows.

i installed my sound drivers, and they show up and it works.

Whenever my computer should make a sound (not songs and movies, i mean like aim messages and stuff) , the speaker on the computer beeps. (you know that annoying BEEP)

When i go to my realtek hd audio control panal and click the speakers, i can hear them(real sounds)

but, no sound in games???

also- i dont see the lil speaker icon in my tray.
 
Go into Control Panel, Sound and Audio and check every device setting. That is also where the volume control location is set.
 
when i go to audio and sound devices, it says "no audio device found" , when my realtek hd audio is clearly installed.
 
Try reinstalling the drivers maybe?

You also may want to make sure that you have the most recent drivers, not just the ones that came with the disc. Go to the website of the mobo you have and make sure your drivers are up to date.
