Here's the story.. I reformatted my OLD computer and gave it to my mom so she could play solitaire and browse the web and whatever. She called me in because her sound wasn't working... so I went behind the PC to check the connection. The speakers were plugged in the wrong slot, so I plugged them in the right one, except only one of them worked. I opened the volume control to check the balance, and it was fine. When I closed volume control they BOTH went dead... and now nothing works. I checked everything, I've never seen anything like this before.... any ideas?
 
Well I HAD one of them working...so it couldn't be a driver issue. I tried to fix it so both of them worked, and they both died 😕
