Hey guys I just switched my Audigy ZS2 for a M-Audio Sound card due to my Counterstrike source freezeing in game .. when i used my onboard audio everything was fine..

I bought these cards and it freezes randomly non-stop..

Formatted Nothing...

Disabled onboard audio threw bios and windows.. Nothing

Flashed MB bios to 1.8 .. Nothing...

Can anyone help?
 
Using the latest sound drivers? Try putting the sound card in another pci slot and see if it does any better. I don't think they have much troubles like they used to, but it probably wouldn't hurt.
 
Yea I've done both,

I switched pci- slot and it got worse!

i think i might of found a solution in bios but im at work now so i havent tested it much yet..


i just find it weird that the system runs fun on onboard audio but goes nutz when i insert a indep. card.
