Sound problem

Hey guys my friend jsut got a new mobo installed and everyhting is working fine after a few problems, Except the sound volume is really low, we have adjusted the volume in the control panels and its still quiet, is there anyway to get it louder? its an onboard sound chip on a ECS P4VMM2 if that helps

Any updated drivers/BIOS?


Check speaker connection.
Check actual speaker settings, esp fader controls if you have one.


If all else fails, go get SB Live value and disable onboard sound.
