Sound on soundstorm nforce2

Hi, I just got my epox board with soundstorm (8RDA+) and i have it set to four speaker with everything plugged in and all, but the only way i can get wav to come out of my rear speakers is through their speaker test. Does anyone know how to fix this?

What are you using to play those wav files? What soundcard?

You're joking right?

Anyway, make sure to check the sound control panel for the Nvdia Soundstorm and check to see if it defaulted the wav to off. The sound drivers on the nForce boards are flaky right now. Try using the 2.03 drivers instead (if you're not already). If these things check out fine, then it means your computer is about to meltdown right about.........now.

Oh yeah.. what was I thinking.

But my first question was valid... I meant, what program are you using to play them cuz not everything supports more than 2 speakers..

Wav files UT2003, everything i could think of comes out of two speakers except the soundstorm speaker test. On my soundblaster live, it worked fine and stuff came out on both channels.

Did u connect them to the correct jack?

have you enabled 4 speaker output?

Is Analogue output enabled?
