Actually, I agree (on both counts ha!) It was indeed a rare situation that, even if the movie got condensed a bit much tho. Still consider it his best work. Big fan of Richard Harris and Guy Pierce in general so that helps too I guess.

Sorry can’t remember where I saw it however they’re a pictures of all but empty theaters playing this to a sold out room. Room is empty.
Two theories are floating around.
First some group is buying these tickets to inflate its rating
Second gen y is trolling by reserving tickets and cancelling at the last moment. This theory seems off because I’d assume movie ranking are not by reserved seat but by ticket sales.

The worst part is the certain knowledge that it all started because someone complained on some FB group that it was hot in the theater when they saw it and the usual conservative gossip mill took over from there.

Except HOAs are a democracy and even though the majority of new homes have HOAs, there are vast differences in their rules, powers, and enforcement. At the end of the day they are basically condo boards for neighborhoods, and maintain the common areas. Cities basically mandate them so they don't have to deal with maintenance of neighborhoods.

Just like with hysteria over random things that happened in a single classroom, the right wing media loves to find the horror stories and plaster them everywhere.
 
HOAs may become democracies once the developer is out of the picture but until then, HOAs are very much dictatorships.
