Sound is missing?!?

I upgraded from WinME to Win2K Pro last night and now my sound is missing. I'm guessing that I'm missing a driver for it but the sound is intergrated into my motherboard from Compaq. Anybody have any ideas on how to get it back?
 
there's a very GOOD chance compaq wont support your sound card in win2k. they like to do stuff like that

only way to find out it to scrounge compaq's website and find your system and then look for new drivers.
