ok, this is a small litle problem i have.

On my old system whenever i had my mp3's playing sometimes i would go and play starcraft. If the mp3's were playing then the games sound would automaticaly be turned off, or silcened, whichhever....

Now, on my new system(click "rig" link) whenever i start SC, BOTH the game music AND the mp3's play simultaniously, this is kind of annoying, as i like to have my mp3's playing while in games where the game sound isnt required. Is there something i should adjust in the "sound" properties of my system? My Rig!

Isn't there a ingame volume control for sounds fx and music? Just turn em both down...

It's not a bug, it's a feature! And a quite cool one, too. It's the reason why I am playing games in Win2000, I can play games and listen to MP3s in the background. It can be annoying if ICQ or other programs beep through the MP3s, especially if you turned the volume up, which is why I deactivated all ICQ sounds.

Anyway, like Jugernot said, just turn the in-game volume down or mute it, then you should be fine.
