Sound doesnt want to work anymore in XP Pro - Strange Error

Today when I came back from class i had a blue screen with this error:

"A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer....

Beginning dump of physical memory..."

It didnt look too good.

So I just rebooted, and when I got back into Windows my sound didnt work anymore.

Then it said that it found new sound hardware and was going to install the drivers....so it did...and my sound worked again.

I then scandisked and defragged and then my sound didnt work anymore.

I have the Sound Blaster Live Value.
