Sound card with RCA Jacks rather than 1/8" mini jacks???

i dont know if theres soundcards with them built in but i know they make 1/8inch to RCA adapters, im pretty sure they sell them at radio shack. (i own one and had my sound card hooked up to my stereo through it)

Sound Blaster AWE Gold. It has RCA outs, but it's an ISA bus card. Very nice card! You may be able to get it on ebay cheap nowadays.

You can easily pick up a converter for pretty cheap. You can also buy a cable with a plug for the mini jack on one end and RCA plugs on the other, I currently use one of those when I what to pipe the sound through my TV.

On the pricier end, the Hercules Game Theatre XP has lots of RCA outs.....and digital outs......and 1/8" outs.....n'stuff.

I'm looking for a modern PCI card. SOunds like the highest quality is going to be a new card and use a mini-jack to RCA cable.

Thanks for the replies.

No one mentioned Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum yet.

It has an awesome break-out box (you can buy the version with a cheaper internal box), has all the connectors you need, and comes with a remote control.

I think NewEgg.com has the lowest price on them right now.

Dio 2448 musicians soundcard with RCA out only, and SPDIF in. $100 plus shipping. A friend has this and it will work in Win2000. Pretty much the least expensive quality card with SPDIF in/out.
