Sound card question

Two quick questions

Do all sound cards have a line-in and line-out?

I have a t.v. card and in order to get sound i would need to plug the a/v cable into the line-in?

most soundcards today have a line-in, line-out, and mic jack, so usually three total.

Alternatively you may use Aux In on a sound card, too.
But tv card and you audio card should be able to communicate thru PCI bus without any extra connection being made. If that does not work for some reason then only you need to look into your sound input options on the audio card...
