Sound card question

Which would be the better buy,

PHILIPS sonic edge 5.1 or CREATIVE sound blaster live 5.1

Philips Sonic Edge IMO. The SB Live 5.1 uses codec that aren't as high quality as what Philips uses on their cards in my experience. Any reason you are only picking between these two cards?

Price mainly pc parts are expensive in the uk.

See I have a sblive 5.1 in my system at the moment its been with me for almost 4 years and I was just looking for some thing new.Im hoping the philps was a better card.
