Sound Card Memory?

Couple days ago I posted about how Quake 3 was stuttering every couple of seconds. Well it turns out that I can get it to stop doing it when I turn hardware acceleration off. What I just did is turned Hardware accel to one of the middle tabs. Went into quake and it didn't do it right when I started. When I would pick a up a diff weapon and fire it, it would start back up. Is the sound running out of memory to store things in? How can I fix this?

Hey, your name seems kind of familiar. 🙂

Is it the sound or the video that's stuttering? What video card and sound card do you have? System specs?

Its the video that stutters, sound never does. Vid card is a TNT2 PRo, and sound card is Philips Seismic Edge. 1.3gig Athlon, 256 DDR, uDMA/100 HDD
