Right now I have an Asus A7N8X Deluxe with the onboard audio, but I still use my SB live card because of the live drive.
I only use headphones and I need front-controllable sound volume, hence the need for the LiveDrive.
I am looking to buy a new card, and normally I would consider an Audigy 2 except that Creative's pitiful lack of drive support for the Live/Audigy1 cards as well as the fact that their drivers turn your computer into a theme park has left me with a really sour taste in my mouth about Creative.
That's not to say I wouldn't consider them at all, it's just that I am quite dissapointed for a company that should be the leader in quality.
Anyone have and ideas or comments about my situation?
