Look at the shipping you paid.. $14.08 for UPS Ground Residential! $37.08 total...

At Newegg it is $32 with $4 shipping for $36 total. Not to mention Newegg is the best place to buy things online IMO and usually worth paying a bit extra for in order to get their excellent service (I've RMA'd two things to newegg and received a replacement VERY fast both times).

The bottom line is to watch out for online stores that offer low prices and then make it up with unreasonable shipping. Only a few bucks of the $14.08 you are paying went for the shipping, the rest went to make up for the low price.

You better believe it! I found this deal -- http://www.raptor-systems.com/special_deals.htm -- a SB Audigy MP3+ retail package for $49.95 + 6.00 S/H, which normally goes for $99 at stores. So I thought, cool!==I don't NEED it, but at this price I'll get it.

HOWEVER, when I went to purchase it, and put in my PayPal info, it performed a shipping calculation which added an extra $15 to that $49.95+5.00(S/H), coming out to $70! Double shipping charges? Screw that! I removed the item from my shopping cart and cancelled processing the order.

Man, u haveta be careful out there. Now I think I'll settle for the Audigy bareboned at NewEgg for $61+S/H, when I NEED it.

stay away from LIVE, is all hype but isn't so great when you can get something much better at cheaper price. They killed all their competition because jealousy of cheaper better quality manufacturer and just like rambus they are just as bad.
