Sound blaster card & onboard sound conflict

Hello,
My soundblaster card says error... SBPROChip maybe in use. I think it is conflicting with my onboard sound (MB), but I have disabled that in my device manager. Any ideas? Thanks

JIM

Uninstall all SB audio drivers. In BIOS, disable onboard sound.
Use Driverheaven's Cab/Driver Cleaner to clean out Creative drivers in Safe Mode,
then Reinstall SB audio drivers.

I'm not sure exactly the error you're referring to, but these steps will
definitely help clean up all your audio drivers no matter.

some MB's are stupid and have a jumper to disable sound, if there's an option in your BIOS for this, I doubt you'll have the jumper, but it's worth investigating.
