i think that the ones in bold are the ones im missing in the OEM....what can you tell me about that?

I know the DVD-Audio disks are just some demos of DVD-Audio music vs. Regular CDs. I think they're the kind of thing you'd listen to a couple of times and then never again... at least that was my impression when a friend of mine played part of it for me.

The Getting Started Demonstration is probably just an installation guide

I don't know what the Music Creation Guide would be.... do you plan on creating any music?

I haven't read anything about SoundFonts, so I can't help you there.

thanks...and the cable??

But...but... the DVD-Audio demo especially the acapella and quintet snippets are cool!

Cable is analog cable from soundcard to optical drive. No need for it if you have digital audio enabled in settings. I can't tell a difference when I took out my analog cables years ago.

There is software that you can use. But, it depends if you use it or not.
I use the calibration tool a lot.
