Just put together a new box for a friend, has an Aopen 48x CD and a Pine Crystal pci soundcard.. the output levels when playing a CD are absurdly low, checked and rechecked all connections, tried a different cable, adjusted all audio levels from windows mixer.. kind of at a loss.. it's a basic CUSL2, celery 600, 128 megs pc133, onboard video (don't laugh) and win 98 SE clean install.. any thoughts/ ideas appreciated... Bob
